We collect as little as we need to run your hosting, we keep it in the United States, and we never sell your data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
What we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, password (stored only as a salted hash), two-factor settings and the team members you invite.
- Billing information: handled by Stripe. We receive your billing name, email, the last four digits and expiry of your card, and your payment history. Your full card number never touches our servers.
- Your Content: the websites, files and databases you host. We access it only to provide, secure and back up the Services, to help you when you ask, or when the law requires.
- Service logs: sign-in records, audit logs of account changes, and web server and security logs (including visitor IP addresses) used to operate and protect the platform.
- Website visits and forms: when you use this website we may use privacy-respecting analytics and remember which campaign brought you here, and we store what you send through our forms (for example, a contact request or waitlist signup).
How we use it
- To provide, maintain, secure and back up the Services.
- To bill you and to send service messages such as receipts, payment problems and security notices.
- To answer your questions and requests.
- To follow up on a signup you started but didn’t finish, and, if you’ve agreed, to send occasional product news. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and attacks.
Where it lives
Your hosted content and backups are stored in U.S. data centers.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business under contract (such as Stripe for payments, and our email and infrastructure providers), when the law requires it, or to protect our customers and network from harm.
Retention
We keep account and billing records while your account is open and as long afterwards as tax and legal obligations require. Hosted content is deleted after an account ends, following our suspension and trash retention periods. Backups expire on your plan’s schedule.
Your choices and rights
You can view and update your account details in the control panel, download Your Content, and close your account. You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing legal@allamericanhosting.com. Residents of states with privacy laws, such as California, have these rights by law, and we extend them to all customers.
Security
We use per-site isolation, encryption in transit, encrypted backups, two-factor authentication for staff and audited administrative access. No system is perfectly secure, and we’ll notify you promptly if a breach affects your information.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes and contact
We’ll post updates here and email you about significant changes. Questions? Email legal@allamericanhosting.com.
